We are searching for an Electrical Engineer to join our client's growing team.

Basic responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include:
  • Power Systems - coordinating maintenance and capital projects for high and medium voltage power distribution systems (transformers, switchgear rectifiers, arc furnace regulation, arc flash studies and relay coordination.
  • Process Control/Automation - identifying and eliminating issues (planning, installation, programming, testing, and troubleshooting production equipment and automation systems (PLC's, motor controls, instrumentation)).
  • Diagnosing process and equipment problems and resolving issues
  • Project Engineer (Electrical) - planning, scheduling, installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades to existing equipment, providing documentation and training
Qualifications for the position include:
  • 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3 years of experience in project management (capital) and designing electrical systems for manufacturing equipment
  • Electrical design, documentation and drawing experience including:
    • CAD schematics, bill of materials, specification control and source control
    • Cabling and wiring lists / loops and connection diagrams
    • Designing data reports and documentation
  • Familiarity with Process Automation and Control technologies and troubleshooting including:
    • PAC / PLC program design and programming
  • Strong commitment to safety in all job aspects
