Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- The Electrical Engineer will design, install, and maintain electrical systems, power distribution, motor controls, and automation systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
- Ensure electrical infrastructure meets operational demands and efficiency goals.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and other relevant industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement electrical safety protocols.
- Maintain documentation for electrical schematics, permits, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead electrical projects, including upgrades, expansions, and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Support reliability initiatives, such as predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Relocation provided.
Requirements
- The Electrical Engineer will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in a chemical, oil & gas, or manufacturing plant preferred.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, motor controls, and automation systems.
- Familiarity with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Understanding of hazardous area classifications (ATEX, NEC 500/505, IECEx).
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
