Basic responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include:
- Design, implementation and documentation for production equipment improvements and upgrades
- Acting as a technical resource for maintenance and operations personnel
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to engineering ethics and department goals
Qualifications for the position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent training and experience
- Electrical design, documentation and drawing experience
- Have an interest in developing strength in one or more of the following areas:
- PLC program design and programming
- Cross-platform communications and data exchange
- Closed-loop control systems
- Instrumentation for flow, temperature, pressure, level, position and mass
- Data acquisition and supervisory control (SCADA)
- Motors, motor controllers and VFDs
- Strong commitment to safety in all job aspects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing and preparing projects
- Leading a team project
- Ability to contribute effectively in a results-driven, team environment
- Commitment to continuous development of self and teammates
