Pay:
$90,000 - $100,000

  • Office hours, Monday - Friday. Flexible start time between 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM

Requirements:
  • Experience and understanding of Electrical systems for heavy machinery, and manufacturing equipment (+4 years)
  • A valid passport and willing to travel (50% travel across the USA)
  • Electrical Safety code & its application in industrial wiring and power distribution(+4 years)
  • Working with PLC & HMI applications (Designing, hardware selection, I/O panel layout and wiring (+4 years)

Education:
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technologist

This is a privately owned organization with 37+ locations across North America and Europe. They are one of the world's leading supplier for roofing products and construction materials.

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • A hands-on Electrical Designer, prototyping and testing of electronic products
  • Maintaining multiple projects at any given time, ranging from simple to complex in nature
  • Involved in designing electrical components, control systems and power management for industrial machinery
  • A self-starter who can identify the next sequential task
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with cutting edge technology
  • Travelling to multiple sites, 3-4 times a year, including Canadian travel
  • Building BOM and assigning part and drawing numbers
  • Identify electrical/electronic components, connectors and wiring required to be used in new and existing products
  • Produce detailed electrical schematics and wiring harness drawings, documentation, verification and test plans specific to customer and project requirements
  • Assist in the fabrication of prototypes testing and samples for production when required
  • Participate in the preparation of bid/proposal documents
  • Product qualification testing
