• The Electrical Engineer will serve as electrical discipline lead and owner’s technical representative for assigned capital projects.
• Establish electrical and instrumentation design criteria, scopes of work, technical requirements, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
• Direct and review work performed by EPC firms, consultants, vendors, system integrators, and construction contractors.
• Develop and review calculations, specifications, data sheets, RFQs, technical bid evaluations, drawings, and construction packages.
• Lead the design and integration of: Medium- and low-voltage power distribution; Substations, transformers, switchgear, and switchboards; MCCs, motors, VFDs, panelboards, relays, and circuit breakers; UPS, battery, DC, emergency, and standby power systems; Grounding, lightning protection, heat tracing, lighting, and receptacle systems.
• Relocation provided. $120K-$160K.

• The Electrical Engineer will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of electrical and instrumentation engineering experience in chemical, petrochemical, energy, manufacturing, or a related process industry.
• Experience delivering capital projects through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Experience as an electrical discipline lead, project technical lead, or owner’s engineer.
• Experience overseeing EPC firms, consultants, equipment suppliers, system integrators, and construction contractors.
• Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution through 480 VAC and working knowledge of medium-voltage systems.
• Experience with substations, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, VFDs, protective relays, grounding, and industrial electrical infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of process instrumentation, control valves, analyzers, PLC systems, remote I/O, and industrial control networks.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
