Mead & Hunt has a once in a lifetime opportunity for an electrical engineer to join their growing team and become the go-to specialist for electrical hydropower projects. In this role, the engineer will oversee electrical engineering for hydroelectric projects, including conditions assessments, components for power distribution and power generation. Responsibilities include quality control, supporting clients, collaboration with team members, and working with the team’s in-house CAD technicians to design a variety of project components. In addition, the engineer will work closely with current and new clients to help the group grow their service offerings within power generation, leveraging the resources of a strong, national-scale multidisciplinary firm. This role is supported by electrical engineers throughout all divisions of the company, with ample opportunities for mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and technical collaboration on companywide projects.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $204,000 /year – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set and location.

Requirements:
• BS in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
• 8+ years of experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Power generation experience is required
• Prior experience working on hydropower projects is preferred but candidates without hydropower experience will be considered if they possess the desire to work on hydropower plants and have prior experience working on power generation projects
