Apollo Technical seeks a skilled Electrical CAD Drafter in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Create AutoCAD engineering drawings for electrical builds, modifications, upgrades, and customizations per client specifications.

• Manage and prioritize tasks for timely completion.

• Maintain company CAD standards and templates.

• Learn electrical equipment and client-specific component applications.

• Develop panel and component design skills per client standards and cut sheets.

• Apply wire sizing and design per client standards and NEC.

• Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and plans accurately.

• Produce precise CAD drawings efficiently and independently.

• Learn construction/design best practices.

• Evaluate designs for constructability.

• Estimate material usage and create bills of materials.

Qualifications:

• 2-year degree in Drafting, Design, Manufacturing, Engineering, or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 2+ years drafting electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.

• Able to read one-lines and schematics.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with a growth mindset.
