Ecommerce Director in CA

The Ecommerce Director orchestrates all aspects of a strategic ecommerce plan by combining existing expertise in sales, marketing, technology, and management to deliver a superior brand and shopping experience for all customers. The best candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in eCommerce and leading a team of 3 Supervisors and 5 Coordinators.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Be a key component in developing the effective planning and execution of an ecommerce strategy, working cross-functionally with teams within and outside of the department.
  • Participate in developing and directing our team of ecommerce professionals to effectively help develop and execute creative ecommerce solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership, innovation, and process optimization initiatives such as implementing ecommerce software and other industry best practices.
  • Compile and present on-going key metrics to management and other department supervisors to assist in measuring goal achievement as well as consideration for company direction.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry developments and identify new areas of ecommerce opportunities beyond current brand offering.
  • Partner with key cross-functional departments to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into eCommerce projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 4-year college degree from an accredited university in business or related field of study; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years marketing & sales experience in an e-commerce environment
  • 4-6 years marketing management experience with a group of 10+ employees
