Ecommerce and Direct to Consumer Marketing Director
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A leading wearable active care solutions brand and is looking for a passionate, motivated and entrepreneurial digital marketing expert who can help develop and drive the overarching digital marketing strategies that will optimize traffic and conversion for our brand and support key brand initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy and Planning:
- Define and develop annual and seasonal brand marketing plans to acquire new customers and drive traffic to the site across all existing channels and new ones. Ensure we are maximizing ROI.
- Develop marketing strategies for acquiring new customers and retaining existing.
- Identify and build strategy for new marketing initiatives i.e content, influencer, PR, partnerships, events
- Forecast and derive insights from key metrics to inform marketing strategies related to our key digital marketing programs
- Develop and manage the monthly integrated digital marketing calendar and work with partners across different functions to ensure we deliver a consistent and integrated branded experience and messaging across all platforms and mediums-
- Share learnings and best practices with colleagues and cross-functional business partners.
- Own the analytics surrounding the online marketing programs (paid media, email, social)
- Optimize and manage relationship with 3rd party partners. Identify and recruit new ones
- Build and grow the marketing team with structure, authority, accountability.
- Work with brand and digital directors to ensure marketing is meeting brand guidelines
- Work with marketplace marketing team to ensure all channels are providing consistent messaging.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience), coupled with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of online marketing and E-commerce consumer product marketing experience
- Experience with health and wellness and/or lifestyle brands is preferred.
- Solid understanding of consumer brand marketing principles with the ability to translate brand strategies into effective online and multi-channel marketing programs that meet financial and strategic objectives.
- Expertise in direct and brand-focused online media planning including experience with paid and natural search, display, rich media, and portal relationships.
- Proven success in managing creative and media planning agencies using strong briefing, project management, creative development, data management.-
- Strong analytical skills is required, as well as demonstrated working knowledge of website design and development, user interface principles, and online marketing best practices.
- Expert in website optimization, strategies and application that increase conversions.
- Exceptional project management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-sufficient and be able to operate effectively without close supervision.
- Agile and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs and in working with diverse teams and people
