Job Description

Our client is a well-established global leader in filtration technology specializing in water and membrane solutions. They’re in immediate need of an Eastern Regional Sales Manager that provides ongoing daily support to the customer base. The Sales Manager is the main customer interface for commercial items and aggressively targets expansion opportunities within the market, while identifying and developing key distributors, OEMs and integrators. This position requires focus on prospecting and developing the Industrial Market, as well as identifying new applications. You will support the implementation of business strategies and maintain profitable relationships focused on accelerating opportunities and driving funnel growth within the Eastern Industrial Market.

Responsibilities:

  • Territory responsibility is the Eastern US and Canada.
  • Key market focus is Industrial, Water and Wastewater.
  • Key technology offerings are RO, UF, NF, MF, MBR, Flat Sheet and Contract Manufacturing.
  • Support the business in strategy execution and implementation of the regional growth plan (prepare a strategic sales plan focused on target accounts and markets, support order analysis, review contracts, prepare and maintain relevant documentation).
  • Provide ongoing technical support and ensure high quality customer service (follow-up of orders, customer visits, prepare and conduct customer presentations).
  • Serve as the liaison between the customer and our clients departments, understanding customer needs.
  • Prepare price analysis and operational sales planning.
  • Prepare and conduct price negotiations for new projects and customers.
  • Identify and develop new customers & channel partners (distributor, OEM, integrator) relationships for driving growth.
  • Achieve annual booking and revenue targets.
  • Increase market coverage & awareness.
  • Customer & channel partner satisfaction.
  • Rapid response to internal and external needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Engineering (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of relevant business experience in sales and/or business development in filtration, membranes within water & wastewater industry.
  • Ability to demonstrate successful territory growth.
  • Customer driven, organization and coordination skills, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
  • Travel is expected to be 20% to 40% (may vary).
  • Conflict management, strong communication skills.
  • Basic system experience (MS Office, Excel, Sales Force, SAP, etc.).

Compensation is a base salary of 115,000-$150,000, plus commissions and full company benefits.
