Company has been in business since 1932 providing delicious snacks and dips across the world. Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for a Mechanic to work in City of Industry, CA.
Compensation:
- Hourly Pay $38.00 to $39.50 per hour.
- $650 annual tool allowance.
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week/8 hours per day.
- Typical work week is 45-50 hours per week.

Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday.
- Work 10:00am-7:00pm; work until work is completed. Typically 8-10 hours per day.
- Schedule flexibility may be available based on candidate's needs.
- Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative and as-needed maintenance of diesel trucks and electronic vehicles.
- Properly operate the mobile service truck and attend to truck inventory.
- Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals.
- Travel to locations to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with management, providing them with detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs.
- Maintain schedules and document completed preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance; ensure work meets manufacturer's specifications according to FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations).
- Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a mechanic working on Medium to light duty trucks.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working on air brakes.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience managing preventative maintenance program.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience managing preventative maintenance program on Electronic Vehicles.
- Willing to teach and train candidates with a highly motivated attitude.
- ASE Certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems as well as general mechanical operation and/or light body repair.
- Familiar with FHWA (Federal Highway Administration), and FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations), BIT (Basic Inspection of Terminals) inspections.
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
- Candidate must provide his/her own tools.
- Must have a valid and current US driver's license; no CDL required.
