Project Overview

Our client is undertaking a multi-phase ERP implementation project to modernize and unify its Finance, HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Procurement, and Contract Management systems. The project will replace fragmented legacy systems with an integrated, cloud-based solution to improve operational efficiency, data quality, and service delivery.

We are seeking a seasoned Contract Project Manager with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex ERP projects in government or similarly regulated environments. This role requires immediate onboarding and will work full-time on the ERP project during its critical planning and execution phases.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven success in delivering ERP systems in a Tribal government, municipal, or public-sector environment.
  • Minimum of 8 years of IT project management experience, including at least 3 large-scale ERP implementations.
  • PMP certification (required). Agile or hybrid PM experience is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP processes across Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement, and related modules.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP vendors such as Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient with project tools (e.g., Monday, Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Teams, SharePoint).

Preferred Qualities

  • Experience managing both internal teams and external vendors through complex change.
  • Politically astute and skilled in stakeholder navigation within sovereign or multi-authority governance structures.
  • Able to operate with urgency, autonomy, and diplomacy.

Location & Travel

  • On-site presence in Atmore, AL preferred, with hybrid or remote arrangements negotiable depending on qualifications.
  • Periodic on-site presence required for executive updates, workshops, or deployment milestones.
