Job Description

As Dynamics ERP Program Lead, you will be pivotal in managing, optimizing, and updating ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics GP, while leveraging your expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and EDI.

  • Reporting to the IT Manager, you will utilize your core skills in databases, SQL, and analysis to troubleshoot software issues and enhance system performance.
  • Skilled in data visualization with Tableau and familiarity with Agile methodologies will support strategic decision-making.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain ERP and supporting applications including Dynamics (DynamicsGP preferred), SQL Server 2019, and Server Tools 18
  • Monitor and support ERP backups to ensure high availability on demand.
  • Monitor and support EDI transactions for business partners.
  • Maintain software and hardware, support for applications/ databases, develop scripts, and make changes to related computer systems hardware/ software
  • Handle disaster recovery and planning, daily/ monthly back-ups, as well as maintenance and annual testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues with ERP and supporting applications through IT ticketing system. Ensure ERP system is functioning optimally.
  • Process improvement initiatives associated with ERP and supporting applications. (Collect for GP, True Commerce, WillowWare, Bar Tender, Soti MobiControl)
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships internally and with vendors
  • Oversee and support customer-supplied applications which interface with ERP such as Vendor Pack-N-Ship andVendor Warehouse
  • Vendor liaison and interaction with all departments to improve business processes as needed.
  • Cross-training of IT Team members.

SKILLSET REQUIRED:

  • ERP experience, preferably in DynamicsGP. Will consider any ERP experience.
  • SQL Server, SSMS, SQL statements, data management, and reporting
  • Devices including: handheld Android scanner devices, label printers, and bar-coding software (configuration/ support)
  • EDI including Purchase Order and ASN components integration
  • Support scanning solution (Korber Collect) as well as maintenance/ support for Zebra Android and label printer device maintenance and availability.
