What you will be doing as the ENT Surgery Scheduler:

• Assist provider with all scheduling needs, mainly outpatient surgery appointments
• Answer and respond to referrals
• Answer the patient triage line and assist with all questions regarding scheduling
• Reschedule canceled appointments
• Upload orders and schedules to providers Outlook calendar
• Pre-op appointment and testing coordination
• Provide cosmetic quotes for services outside of insurance coverage
• Ensure cases are authorized by insurance- Pre Cert team will handle, but must be able to assist
• Update provider and patient on denials or appeals from insurance

What you will need as the ENT Surgery Scheduler:

• High School diploma
• 2+ years in a scheduling role
• Epic experience, required
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with Outlook
• Ability to multi task
• Knowledge of inpatient codes/admission experience is a plus
• Experience with in office procedure scheduling is a plus
