StaffMed Health Partners is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to serve as Medical Director and join a collaborative Emergency Department team in north-central Indiana. This leadership role combines clinical practice with administrative responsibilities, supported by an additional stipend. The position is based at a community-focused, not-for-profit regional medical center that has proudly served residents since 1925 and has earned a 5-star CMS rating in patient experience. Physicians will practice in a modern, supportive environment with excellent resources and a strong hospital medicine program for admission support.

Position Highlights:

  • Annual Volume: 19,125 visits
  • Daily Physician Coverage: 24 hours
  • Daily APC Coverage: 12 hours
  • ED Beds: 14
  • Hospital Beds: 83
  • Hospital Medicine Program: In place for seamless patient care
  • Acuity Level: Moderate with a 10% admission rate
  • Fast Track: No
  • Trauma Level: Not designated

Requirements:

  • Board Certification/Eligibility: EM/FM/IM
  • Certifications:
  • EM Boarded Physicians: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
  • Non-EM Boarded Physicians: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required
  • APCs: ACLS, PALS
