WHO IS THIS JOB FOR?

This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with at least 6 years of experience who values being part of a team and working with others. Now specifically with this role we are looking for a individual who will be an integral part of the project team, helping to deliver projects for the Electrical Discipline in Higher Education, Healthcare and Industrial project types.

WHAT YOU NEED:

You will need to have a collaborative and professional work ethic along with a Degree in Electrical Engineering or experience as an Electrical Designer! This is a specialized job in a highly detailed niche, and as such only candidates with this experience will be considered. You MUST have experience in an Architectural Engineering/Contractor or Consulting firm. This is a unique field and a growing firm and needs someone with 6 or more years of experience that can jump right in and contribute to projects.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

  • Electrical Engineering Design in the MEP Field
  • Focus on Deliverables for all phases of the project
  • Collaborates with project ream to develop and ensure consistent, high-quality, project documents.
  • Participates in the design process
  • Promote the firm’s mission, vision, core values and strategic plan.
  • Mentor project team staff.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

  • Expertise in Electrical Engineering design in Architectural Engineering
  • 6+ years experience in Electrical design of buildings in an engineering consulting firm or electrical contractor
  • Experience in mentoring junior engineers
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical, spatial, and building code concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic
  • BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or experience in electrical design
