PURPOSE: The E&I Team Lead (Manager) is responsible for the direct management of the E&I Supervisors and Technicians at this integrated paper operation in the Great Lakes region. Industry leader with operations throughout the US and Canada, position open due to upcoming retirement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will drive company safety and health guidelines throughout the Mill as an integral part of their everyday duties. This position is responsible for ensuring that equipment and facilities are correctly installed, modified, maintained and operating effectively while promoting predictive maintenance techniques such as PdMA and infrared inspections and champion the workflow process. Specifically, the incumbent will continually assess installed equipment reliability and maintainability, prints, adequacy of design and correctness of repairs and installation. Leadership qualities are essential in the direction and support of direct reports and multi-disciplined teams comprised of internal maintenance teams as well as contract maintenance and operational resources. These qualities will also be used to ensure safety and workflow management processes, coordination of repairs and installations and training of E&I resources to enable reliable operations of the Port Huron Mill equipment and facilities. The E&I team lead will work closely with the Mill Electrical Engineer to develop plans to improve reliability weak points within the mill.
A successful candidate must be detail orientated, team player and leader, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments and apply active listening skills along with meeting the following requirements for consideration:
- BSEE preferred
- 10+ years of experience in industrial maintenance organization
- CMMS experience – SAP preferred
- CMMP certification a plus
