EHS Director

Join a Manufacturer with an entrepreneurial spirit seeking a leader to revamp and set new EHS Standards across 7 North American manufacturing sites.

This role offers:

Responsibilities:

  • Plan-Promote a Zero Injury Safety Culture:
  • Implement new EHS management standards compliant withISO14001 and ISO18001.
  • Check- Audit Process, Train, Communicate
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of federal and state OSHA regulations and safety codes and environmental quality regulations.
  • Conduct environmental audits of facilities and grounds; maintain applicable records.
  • Facilitate quarterly claim reviews; own the management of incident claims with appropriate 3rd party resources.
  • Oversee an effective workers' compensation (WC) claims management process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or Environmental or related technical discipline required
  • 8+ years’ experience leading EHS&S within multi-site manufacturing
  • Advanced knowledge of ISO 14001, EPA and OSHA regulations and other governmental work/employer related legislation required.
  • 25-40 % domestic travel is required.
