Position Responsibilities:
Reports to the Vice President of Technology for a leading provider of freight brokerage solutions with a wide spread of sectors.
The EDI Administrator completes a backlog of EDI projects, including setups, testing and coordination within a TMS. Collaborates with management to provide break fix analysis on existing processes and to define product development tasks and estimates. Reparation of inbound & outbound EDI data to prevent errors. Resends all transaction types; 204’s, 990’s, 210’s, & 997’s, when necessary for customer base. Ensures EDI transmissions meet platform specifications in terms of business requirements, application design and infrastructure requirements. Develops, implements and/or modifies business process to support automation with new or existing trading partners and/or customers. Troubleshoots all reported errors and provide proper documentation and feedback. Routinely reviews customer auditing guidelines to ensure proper procedures are always being followed. Resolves auditing errors and determine if customer audit procedure changes are needed. Verbally communicates with management to understand any changes or concerns in auditing procedures. Provide management with insight into any customer specific issues or trends that adversely affect the auditing process. Will be required for minimal assistance in traditional (IT tasks) such as phone and equipment setup while providing system administration.

Background Required:
  • EDI experience 3+ years
  • EDI specialist, setups within TMS systems
  • EDI transaction types (204, 210s, 214s & 990’s, etc.)

  • BS/BS degree
  • Residence: In office Tampa, Florida

  • Programing/API Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (i.e., Computer Science)
