Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management Functional Solutions Architect

Our client seeks an experienced solutions architect to join their Enterprise Business Applications (EBA) team. In this role, you will contribute to EBA strategy, implementation, and drive Business Transformation and Operational Excellence initiatives. As a key member, you will lead discovery, requirements gathering, process documentation, configuration, and implementation management of Microsoft Dynamics FSCM, supporting clients across various sectors including finance, distribution, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Strategy, Requirements & Selection:

  • Define needs for existing and new EBA solutions.
  • Document enterprise business applications and related processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies and critical business requirements.
  • Develop representations of future state options for client evaluation.
  • Design scorecards and dashboard presentations for candidate evaluation.
  • Provide functional clarifications to Technical Leads, Developers, and Managers.

Solution Functional Design:

  • Design functional solutions in Dynamics 365 F&SCM and related contexts.
  • Propose business value solutions aligned with client expectations.

Consulting:

  • Gain a deep understanding of client needs and best practices.
  • Define and propose solutions that exceed client expectations.

Program & Project Management:

  • Support and manage business applications implementations.
  • Document project milestones, phases, and budget.
  • Monitor project progress and manage risks and issues.

Implementation and Support:

  • Provide functional support and resolve issues for EBA solutions.
  • Manage systems configuration tasks and post-go-live support.
  • Foster a positive team environment and client service mentality.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Drive completion of key workstreams as directed by project leaders.
  • Manage project workstreams and mentor consultants.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and six (6) or more years of Microsoft Dynamics F&SCM, AX systems experience; OR
  • High School Diploma/GED and seven (7) or more years of Microsoft Dynamics F&SCM, AX systems experience.

Experience:

  • Six (6) or more years of business process analysis or business application experience.
  • Four (4) or more years of Microsoft Dynamics F&SCM experience.

License/Certifications:

  • Business applications technology certifications preferred.

Software Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with one or more ERP/CRM/HCM Solutions technology required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
  • Business process analysis, design, and process flow skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced technical environment.
