What You'll Do
- Create and/or modify panel systems shop drawings using AutoCAD based on Drafting Manager's direction
- Review project scope provided by manager based on architectural drawings and specifications
- Review shop drawings returned by the architect/GC with comments and make corrections as necessary for resubmittal
- Modify drawings based on field sizes and create a final As-Built set of drawings for record
- Create part drawings, sketches and fabrication layout diagrams
What You'll Need
- Minimum H.S. Diploma or equivalent with courses relating to drafting
- 3+ years experience with ornamental metals/ACM or insulated panels/curtainwall/storefront
- Experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) System
- Experience with AutoCAD 2014+, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Bluebeam PDF Editing Software
- eSUB Project Management Software experience preferred
- 1+ years experience with CNC programming preferred
- Experience with the exterior envelope including panel systems, rainscreens, air/vapor barrier systems preferred
- Experience with material take-offs and estimating preferred
- Knowledge of construction and fabrication methods preferred
