Domestic Couple - Italy

Marcilly Recruitment’s client is seeking an overseas Domestic Couple with experience working for an UHNW family, ideally within a private residence setting. This is an exceptional position set in the stunning Italian coastline.

The couple/individual’s must have the right to work in Italy either by having a EU passport or a working visa. The successful domestic couple - Italy do not need to be fluent Italian speakers, but a good working knowledge of Italian is a big plus.

This role will suit a couple who have experience with property management, gardening, housekeeping, and administration. The employers are looking for a professional, flexible, down-to-earth couple who have a can-do attitude and can be relied upon to oversee the general running of the residence.

The Italian property is lived in for six months of the year maximum, with their time being split between other properties and travelling internationally. The domestic couple - Italy will look after the residence when the principals are not in residence.

Duties will include:

• Housekeeping and laundry
• Gardening
• Day to day household maintenance and property management – high tech house. Keeping on top of any issues with daily inspections, and sourcing external professionals when necessary
• Day to day maintenance of the grounds
• Wardrobe management
• Flower arranging and keeping on top of finishing touches
• Responsible for household budgets and expenses, keeping strict records. Must have strong IT skills
• Driving - safe driving is a must
• Food and household shopping
• Dog Handling and pet care
• Stock management and keeping on top of household supplies
• Teamwork with the principal’s other staff e.g.: chefs, PAs, dog trainers etc.

The successful domestic couple - Italy must have complete discretion and be aware of the boundaries working for a private family. They must be professional and discreet.

Excellent references must be provided.

Start Date: To suit Couple and Principal (ideally January 2026)

Salary: €60K-€90K gross per annum for the couple

Accommodation: Beautiful, separate accommodation provided close to the main residence - all bills and utilities covered by the principal

The client’s preference is a couple covering HK, Gardening & Estate Management. They are, however, open to two individuals that are happy working and living alongside another employee.
