Domain Architect

This person will have two main focus areas

1. Shepherding the ongoing modernization to a successful completion
2. Taking on new project work - a few large initiatives are hitting the space to overhaul DSD receiving and how we handle Recalls
   1. Arch Decision Records
   2. Specs including full C4 diagramming
1. These need to be done in a thoughtful way to balance modernization efforts and potentially updating legacy systems (not preferred) for Business timelines
2. Full blown System Design is needed
3. Creating and representing artifacts at our Architecture Review Board and the EA Review Council

Proven track record of System modernization - namely within the .NET / Azure space

• Primarily focused on back-end, integrations, and platform
• We have a very strong Mobile App lead they can pair with, but if they happen to also have MAUI experience - all the better but not required
• Top tier critical thinking skills and ability to turn ambiguity into clarity / actionable plans
• Our “Swiss Army Knife” Mobile App - Product Inquiry, Receiving, Outbound, and others
• Undergoing modernization on both the back (.NET -> refactoring and moving to Azure) and front-end (Xamarin -> refactoring and moving to MAUI)
• Huge amounts of tech debt to overcome based on the legacy nature
• Many partners involved - especially within Merch and Finance
