Job Description

The Division Manager manages multiple projects at various stages, from pre-construction to closeout. This person will need to work seamlessly with all operational units within the Newport Industries team to ensure the collective success of our organization. This individual is personable, communicates well, and is driven to create a collaborative and collectively successful environment.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have five (5) or more years of experience in the design, estimation, planning, and construction of Building Automation/Management Systems and Electrical Power Management Systems.
  • Possess an established pool of clients that desire to work with you based on your relationships with said clients over your career.
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment and be a “self-starter.”
  • Desire to lead a team of junior employees, although that may only be required of you later in your tenure with our company.
  • Ability to navigate, manipulate, and create detailed project schedules. Advanced construction acumen is a necessity.
  • Organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and ViewPoint is preferred but optional.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of resource planning and understanding the financial impacts of such decisions.

Salary Range: $70-110K
