Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations leading provider of bulk tank transportation services of both liquid and dry bulk products throughout their multiple locations in the Midwest. Being in business for over 50 years with more than 500 trucks in their fleet. They are searching for a strong leader to step into a learning role alongside the current Terminal Manager and soon after taking full leadership of the terminal.
The Dispatcher- Petroleum will talk to drivers’ multiple times throughout the day to collect information about the loads they have hauled and/or have left to haul as well as provide details on where to pick up their next load. They will also be responsible for talking to customers multiple times throughout the day to ensure on-time and efficient delivery. They will help drivers with specific instructions on how to get to numerous customer locations throughout the Midwest. They will use their TMW transportation logistics software to create new loads per customer requests and update cancellations to the team.

Background Required:
  • Dispatch or Petroleum sales experience
  • DOT rules and regulations
  • Scheduling of PM’s
  • Working Knowledge of HOS & TMW system
  • Understanding of driver retention strategies
  • Problem Solving abilities
  • Attention to detail / strong work ethic
  • Transportation dispatch software (i.e.TMW, McCleod)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Location: Johnson Creek, WI
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Petroleum, equipment, and geographic knowledge
  • Liquid bulk dispatch
  • Satellite tracking (i.e. Qualcomm)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
