Currently seeking a talented and dedicated Director of Surgical Services Operating Room OR for a great opportunity in the Southern, NV area. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of current experience working in an acute care hospital in the Surgical Services/OR department and 3+ years of experience working in a Surgical Services unit in a leadership role.

Responsibilities of the Director of Surgical Services Operating Room OR

• Responsible for the 24-hour management of OR, PACU, Outpatient Surgery, and other assigned departments to ensure the facility meets the established standard of care
• Assures great service, growth, development, and personnel management to ensure consistency in the Surgical Services Department
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the Surgical Services program to ensure quality patient care consistent with the Hospital mission
• Actively participates in service, departmental, and hospital-wide committees as assigned, providing ongoing communication to those one represents
• Perform other duties of Surgical Services Director

Requirements of the Director of Surgical Services Operating Room OR

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Bachelor and Master Degrees in Nursing or Health Science related field required
• CNOR preferred
• If Masters Degree has not been obtained, must be actively enrolled in an accredited master's degree program with reporting of progress each semester to CNO
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada
• Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, and database
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned
• Six Sigma credentials preferred
  
• Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience and a minimum of five (5) years progressive management experience preferred
