Director of Surgical Services - FILLED

A large critical access hospital with gross patient revenues of approximately $80M has an opportunity for a Director of Surgical Services (the incumbent is moving to a new role within the organization). The director supervises and manages all aspects of the department, which features two main operating rooms and two endoscopy rooms. Volumes are 125-130 per month with case types of general, ortho, ENT, podiatry, GI and ophthalmology. Staff size beneath this role is seven RN's, three techs and one administrative assistant. They are also recruiting for two additional RN's. The director is expected to be hands-on if needed, plus for on-call openings.

The appropriate candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Ideal is two years of OR and prior supervisory experience. CNOR is preferred.
