Brentwood UMC is a vibrant congregation committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ, recently reaffirming its place in the United Methodist Church with a centrist theological approach, emphasizing unity, hospitality, and community.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of the Student Ministry will oversee the vision, development, and day-to-day operations of the student ministry. This includes creating engaging discipleship programs, leading the Student Ministry staff, and building strong relationships with students, parents, and volunteers. The candidate will work closely with the Director of Discipleship to align ministry efforts with the overall mission of the church.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Sunday programming and other student discipleship activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with students, parents, and volunteers
  • Manage the Student Ministry budget and calendar
  • Oversee volunteer recruitment and development
  • Plan and organize events, including mission trips and retreats
