Director of Strategic Operations

Job Description
Client Summary:
  • Delivers services to address Health-Related Social Needs (HRSNs) for high-risk individuals with complex unmet medical and social needs.
  • Re-engages members who have become disconnected from primary care and helps guide them back into the healthcare system.
  • Partners with health plans and risk-bearing provider organizations to locate, engage, and care for these populations.
  • Uses in-person, community-based teams to navigate healthcare providers and social service resources.
  • Simultaneously improves member outcomes while reducing avoidable utilization and total cost of care.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement member-focused workflows that improve outcomes, ensure compliance, and align with contract requirements
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, drive cost savings, and manage new client implementations end-to-end
  • Identify and optimize processes to enhance operational performance, care quality, and overall experience
  • Develop and support training programs to ensure adoption of new processes and foster continuous improvement
  • Leverage data to drive decision-making, improve performance, and align strategies with organizational goals
Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare management, project management, or a similar role focused on strategic initiatives and cost-reduction in healthcare settings.
  • Proven ability to align strategic efforts with organizational values.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • A curious nature and relentless drive for excellence
  • Experience with healthcare IT systems, Electronic Health Records (EHR), Project Management Workflow systems, etc.
  • Experience with California Medi-Cal health plans and CalAIM Housing requirements
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, housing documentation systems, and health plan portals.
  • Strong data and reporting skills with experience tracking KPIs and performance metrics.
Compensation $150k-$175k, Health Insurance, 401k, Paid Vacation
