Position Responsibilities:
Will report to the CFO for a regional transportation provider.

The Director of Sales is a hunter who secures new business. The Director will be responsible for the development and signing of profitable new business, additional business, and maintaining current accounts. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including suspect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, and presentation(s), start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. Challenge is to increase revenues and improve profitability.

Background Required:
  • Transportation account executive (5 years)
  • National accounts exposure
  • Sales responsibility for a fleet over 200 power units
  • Proven track record of producing profitable growth
  • Pricing logic & analysis
  • Computer literate (MS Office, Outlook)
  • Residence: Dallas, TX (home office environment)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Transportation Software (Mcleod)
  • Operations
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (i.e. Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation)
Other Essential Abilities and Skills:
  • Excellent communications (written, oral and presentation)
