Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Commercial of a leading freight solution provider with a portfolio of services to include air and ocean freight forwarding, cold storage and warehousing, customs clearance & brokerage, E-Commerce, and visibility tools. The organization is a global air freight forwarder leader and carry an impeccable reputation with perishable and temperature controlled shipments.

The Director of Sales primary role is to grow and maintain international air freight business within multiple services and verticals (Military, eCommerce, Pharma, Perishables). Coordinates complete sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, RFQs, pricing, proposal preparation & presentation(s), contract signing, start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. Coordinates internal relationships and collaborates with local and regional subject matter experts. Prepares all necessary paperwork including expense and sales reports in a timely manner. Involvement in local trade groups, as approved by Upper Management and VP of Sales. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
