Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the SVP of a premiere third-party logistics provider that offers all major modes of transportation including dry van, temperature controlled, flat bed, LTL and intermodal services.
The Director of Sales is responsible for the Growth of the branch through proper execution of a sales plan that meets all monthly branch goals relative to revenue, GP, loads, and GP %. Will be responsible for the recruiting, training, and development of sales associates. Responsible for team accountability, and sales process development driven by the organization’s core values. Will be responsible for leading the team in a relentless pursuit of new account acquisition and existing account growth. Challenge is to expand account base, supporting profitable increased revenues within the Branch network.

Background Required:
  • Outside sales / Business Development within transportation/freight brokerage (5+ years)
  • Sales Management, Training, and Development (2+ Years)
  • Service offering (i.e. Dry Van, Temp-controlled, Flatbed, LTL, Intermodal)
  • Strong Selling and closing capabilities
  • Strong Negotiation Ability (Customer, Margin Integrity)
  • Contractual Business Process (RFP, RFI, RFQ)
  • Develop and execute business plan strategies
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Residence: Atlanta, GA
