We are seeking an experienced Hotel Director of Sales for a premier branded property near Iowa City, IA. This position partners with the General Manager to drive group market expansion and maximize overall revenue for the property. Compensation Package: $ 80,000 - $90,000 (Commensurate with experience) + 20% bonus program, comprehensive health, dental, and vision, 401k, PTO, and much more!

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive full service hotel sales experience, with a strong understanding of revenue generation and client relationship management.
  • Background in rooms and catering sales preferred, with a demonstrated ability to cross-sell services effectively.
  • Results-driven and self-motivated professional with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Collaborative and dynamic team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead property site visits and deliver persuasive, customized proposals to potential clients, showcasing the hotel’s offerings and service capabilities.
  • Drive strategic outbound sales initiatives to grow market share, including proactive prospecting and lead generation.
  • Oversee the sales, planning, and seamless execution of events, ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Partner closely with department leaders to align service delivery with client expectations, fostering exceptional guest experiences across all touchpoints.
