We are seeking a Director of Sales for a beautifully Full service property in the heart of Clear Lake, IA. This prime location offers guests a range of amenities tailored to business travel professionals and groups. Our ideal candidate will come with a comprehensive understanding of the Clear Lake market booking patterns and market trends.

Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000​ (negotiable) + quarterly bonuses (Potential 24% of salary), Health, Dental & Vision plans, 401k, a great PTO plan, and more!
Relocation assistance will be provided on a case-by-case basis.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience as Director of Sales in the hotel industry
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical abilities, including trend identification and strategic planning
Responsibilities:
  • Communicate professionally with customers, partners, and associates
  • Demonstrate deep market knowledge, including brand positioning, booking trends, and local events
  • Manage group inquiries efficiently, aligning responses with hotel strategy
  • Oversee Corporate/BT market segments, nurturing existing relationships and developing new accounts to meet revenue targets
