Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the President – Supply Chain Division of a leading Third-Party Logistics company offering integrated third-party logistics services including warehousing, fulfillment and transportation services. Company is a general-purpose foreign trade zone operator. Company is well resourced and is expanding their offerings and footprint.
Will be responsible for the management, development and signing of profitable new business, additional business, and maintaining current accounts within Fulfillment, Warehousing and contractual logistics services within the upper Midwest Region. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, proposal preparation and presentation(s), contract signing, start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. In addition, will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships while increasing adoption and client satisfaction with assigned accounts. Responsible for ensuring an exceptional end-to-end customer experience and identifying service solution opportunities, while leading, supporting, and advocating for the client’s strategic business objectives. Challenge is to concurrently expand account base, increase revenues and improve profitability.

Background Required:
  • Demonstrated success selling fulfillment, e-commerce and warehousing services (5 years)
  • Develop and execute an account-based business plan strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals.

  • Executive level presentation skills
  • CRM knowledgeable (i.e., Salesforce)
  • Supply Chain Technology knowledgeable (WMS, TMS, ERP)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Residence: Akron, OH area
  • Travel: 25-50% regionally
Background Preferred (but not required):
