Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing for one of the nation's leading flatbed trucking companies with a large and growing fleet of modern, safe, and well-maintained equipment made up of 1400+ trucks and 2,000+ open deck trailers. The company has been operating for over 60 years in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, and has been profitable and growing with annual revenues approximately $300 million. The company employs over 1700 personnel, including 1200+ company drivers. The company maintains a 97% on-time pick-up and delivery record
The Director of Sales will manage a staff of 9 Regional Sales Managers across the United States and interact daily with Operations, Safety, and Credit departments. Responsible for leading the sales efforts in increasing and improving the profitability of company sales, new business development, and account diversification. Main responsibilities are sales force management, sales growth, sales reporting and analysis, and business planning.

Background Required:
  • Transportation Sales and Sales Management (10 yrs.)
  • Success in building sales volume as a Sales Representative and Sales Manager
  • Business development acumen through various sources
  • Sales Reporting/Analysis
  • Business planning & market research
  • Pricing & negotiating sales contracts
  • Demonstrated ability developing new accounts
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
  • Travel: at least 60%
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline)
  • Location: Tulsa, OK (relocation assistance provided)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Experience with Truckload or Flatbed Carrier
  • Knowledge of CRM & Power BI
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Education: Master’s degree or higher education
