Job Description
Director of Sales and Marketing
Responsible for day-to-day Sales and Marketing activities focused on driving revenue growth, expanding viable sales opportunities, and gaining increased market share in designated target markets for a worldwide leading manufacturer of automated vertical storage solutions.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Manage all sales activities via a team of locally based Regional Managers and Market Specialists as well as through a well-developed Channel Partner network throughout North America.
- Set sales goals and define best potential target markets, maintain sales forecasts and performance metrics to create self-sustained incremental growth.
- Train and motivate sales staff to improve product knowledge, maintain relationships with key Channel Partners and correctly position the organization as a premium solution vs. other competitors.
- Develop and maintain a training curriculum for both the direct sales team and channel partner sales representatives to increase product knowledge and enhance channel partner engagement with the goal of increasing revenue and gaining more mindshare within the channel partner sales force.
Marketing & Brand Positioning:
- Collaborate with company’s Marketing Manager to develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans including digital and print advertising, e-mail campaigns, trade show participation and social media activates, to increase visibility in the market and increase qualified opportunities for the company’s sales team and our channel partners.
- Develop and maintain business development processes and strategies to create and nurture new, qualified contacts and prospects.
- Track and evaluate marketing effectiveness of various campaigns and initiatives based on conversion rates to the defined Lifecycle Stages designated in Hubspot
