Director of Sales POS Reseller-East
We’re excited to partner with a trusted leader in Restaurant Point of Sale, seeking a Sales Director. Founded in 1996, our client is an established, industry-recognized, award-winning Point of Sale Solution and Merchant Services Provider with offices up and down the East Coast, and Phoenix, AZ. They provide Payment Processing, Point of Sale Systems, and extended technology solutions to restaurant businesses.
Duties: The Sales Director’s duties include but aren’t limited to:
- Evaluating existing sales staff and making recommendations
- Screen and onboard new sales hires
- Day-to-day management AND co-selling with sales staff.
- Travel to other regional offices in NY, NJ, PA, FL and AZ
- Representing the company at trade shows.
- Develop or assist in new sales training initiatives, incentive programs.
- Conduct regular formal performance evaluations, and daily coaching / mentoring.
- Travel from office to office… throughout Northeast, Florida, Phoenix, sell with reps, train, coach. Will also travel to clients and trade shows. Position can be partially remote but only once they’re established. Until then expect them to come into the local office daily.
- Lead weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting calls as part of the executive leadership team.
Manage local AND remote sales team: Our Sales Consultants spend the majority of their time out of the office, performing the different steps in the sales process at prospective customer locations.
Experience/Qualifications: In our experience, applicants with the following characteristics are most likely to succeed:
- 5+ Years in Sales Leadership:
- 10+years in the Restaurant Point of Sale Industry with a demonstrated track record in both selling, and leading sales.
- Stable employment history: Longevity in a previous point of sale technology company.
- Track record of achieving and overachieving sales goals. Track record of successfully hiring, mentoring, and coaching high performance sales teams in the Restaurant POS industry.
- Operational Experience in a Restaurant or Retail Business: It is important to understand the challenges our customers face and how our products can help them.
- Passion & Self-Motivation Every day is an opportunity to conquer the world!
- Technology Orientation Comfort using & discussing technology is important.
