Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP Sales, North America or Director, National Sales of a leading third-party logistics last mile provider. Has a strong presence in both the United States and Canada. Use industry experience and technology to seamlessly connect a network of local delivery providers in local markets. Believes in one solution fits all client needs. Customizes services and technology to meet their unique requirements. Services include point to point hot shot, same day and next day delivery, two-man delivery, branch & store replenishment, asset recover & returns, home delivery, polled distribution, reverse logistics, cross dock, storefront delivery, dedicated routes, and outsourced network management.
The Director of Sales, Medical Logistics Solutions directs, leads and coaches the strategic and daily activities of the medical logistics of four National Sales Executive team members in their pursuit of prospecting, engaging, and winning net new customers. Interfaces with the sales and corporate leadership team to develop and execute the medical logistics sales. Acts as a “player-coach” contributing individually and being the sales team leader. Provides mentoring, training, and required organizational support to exceed corporate growth goals for the medical logistics sales team.

Background Required:
  • Medical and healthcare transportation and distribution (8 yrs)
  • Supervisory or management over multiple sites (3 yrs)
  • Healthcare logistics sales (hospitals, labs, pharmacies, medical equipment, and supplies)
  • Set, manage, and exceed key performance indicators
  • In depth analysis of operational and financial performance
  • Exceed sales quota (individual and team)
  • Pipeline management
  • P&L Management
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Residence: Work Remote
