Growing $100M LTL Division of a Large Company seeking talented Director of Sales & Marketing for the division. This individual will be responsible for managing and growing the sales of the division by planning, implementing sales, marketing and product development programs. This person will manage 3 Regional Sales Managers, Account Representatives, Telemarketing Inside Sales Manager and 16 total employees.
This is an opportunity to bring in some new ideas and programs and re-energize the sales teams toward growth targets.Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in sales, marketing, other related subjects.
- 5+ years experience in Sales & Marketing Management experience in the LTL transportation industry.
- Supervisor experience of 10+ employees
- Must have strong business acumen, communication skills, customer/client focused, strong presentation skills and problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must have strong leaderships skills and ability to energize and mobilize sales people toward sales goals and targets.
- Must be results oriented, strategic thinking and have a strong technical capability and must understand the transportation industry and the changes and challenges facing the LTL industry.
- Work from home office
- Travel in the Midwest to customer and home office locations.
- Must currently be in an LTL (less than truckload) division/company that is managing 5+ sales people today.
- Located in Chicago area or willing to relocate there - will travel through out the Midwest
