Director of Revenue Management – Vacation Rentals (Remote)


About the Role

A newly launched vacation rental division is seeking an experienced Director of Revenue Management to drive growth and commercial success. This role will be the cornerstone of the division’s strategy, responsible for revenue optimization, distribution expansion, and system implementation across a growing portfolio of vacation rental properties.

The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in vacation rental distribution, revenue management, and team leadership. This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to build and shape the commercial direction of an emerging division.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and refine revenue management strategies tailored to each rental unit’s unique market position.
  • Lead distribution strategy across multiple channels, ensuring effective use of platforms like Track PMS and Synxis.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to align pricing, promotions, and guest experience goals.
  • Conduct market analysis and demand forecasting to maximize RevPAR and profitability.
  • Partner with property owners to educate and align on long-term strategies.
  • Conduct regular site visits (approx. 50% travel) to ensure commercial plans align with on-property offerings.
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to local operations and reservations teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive revenue management experience with a strong background in vacation rentals.
  • Expertise: Hands-on knowledge of Track PMS required; Synxis strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of vacation rental distribution channels, RevPAR optimization, and revenue maximization strategies.
  • Leadership: Ability to train, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders and property teams.
  • Mindset: Analytical, strategic, and entrepreneurial—ready to build and grow a division.
