Director of Development to lead our dynamic project team and oversee the day-today operations of our expanding $2 billion project pipeline.
Job Description
As the Director of Development for Primestor, you will be at the forefront of our urban
redevelopment initiatives. Your role will involve day to day management of a team of
exceptional professionals, navigating intricate public-private partnership structures,
and spearheading projects that deeply impact neighborhoods. Your tactical leadership,
project management expertise, and dedication to community empowerment will be
instrumental in helping shape the future of Primestor’s urban redevelopment efforts.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Development, you will be responsible
for the implementation of Primestor’s many exciting projects and will help continue to
build systems, procedures and policies that will contribute to the firm’s growth and the
fuel the team’s financial and risk management performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Department Leadership
Ÿ Lead a growing team of 7+ development professionals spanning the areas
of project feasibility, predevelopment, construction and community
engagement.
Ÿ Oversee the daily operations of all urban redevelopment projects, ensuring
alignment with company goals and objectives.
Ÿ Work closely with firm leadership, as well as Primestor’s operational teams
responsible for investments, leasing, and property management.
Ÿ Provide leadership and direction to team members to effectively articulate,
implement and report on individual development project business plans.
2. Project Management
Ÿ Supervision of multidisciplinary internal and external project teams to
develop and execute ground-up and redevelopment commercial real estat
