Our client is a 25 bed critical access hospital just outside of Louisville, they strive to meet and identify the communities needs and provide the lowest possible cost in their services to its patients.

The Quality Director is responsible for managing hospital wide and medical staff quality review processes. The Director of Quality and Performance Improvement will have experience with Joint Commission and state inspection and can drive quality improvement. The Director of Quality and PI duties include abstracting quality data from the medical record, including but not limited to, medical staff quality indicators, surgical case/invasive procedure review, blood usage review, mortality review, special targeted studies/research and complications review in accordance with QI standards and procedures. The Director of Performance Improvement & Quality manages the medical staff peer review process.

Qualifications:

·        3+ years leadership experience in Hospital/Healthcare Quality or Performance Improvement

·        BSN/RN Preferred

·        Masters Degree Preferred

·        Lean Six Sigma Certification
