Job Description

We’re seeking a Director of Technical Project and Program Management (eCommerce) to help us evolve our leading eCommerce website and achieve our aggressive omni-channel strategy. In this role you will be responsible for driving the implementation of our ecommerce roadmap, including managing the development, delivery to market, and scaling of eCommerce initiatives.

Reporting to the Vice President of eCommerce, you will play a critical role in the success of our fast-growing ecommerce channel and help ensure an upward trajectory of success and growth in a fun, fast-paced and high-growth environment.

You will oversee multiple project teams, ensuring project and program goals are reached, meeting schedules and specifications, while maintaining organizational standards of high quality and performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives and goals that adhere to organizational objectives
    ● Work closely with project sponsors, IT, cross-functional teams, and project leads to plan and develop scopes, deliverables, resource planning, work plans, milestones, budgets, and timing for new initiatives
    ● Manage program and project teams to optimize return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
    ● Identify key business requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
    ● Help develop budgets and resource plans for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
    ● Identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects
    ● Analyze, evaluate, and overcome project risks, and produce & present program reports for management and stakeholders
    ● Provide training and mentoring to motivate and nurture ecommerce team and internal partners with eye toward promoting from within

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
    ● 4+ years in eCommerce program management experience
    ● 2+ years of leadership experience, including people management and development, partner interaction and process management
    ● Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, organizational and problem-solving skills
    ● Strong business acumen with proven ability to strategize, delegate and implement program initiatives
    ● Motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion
    ● Proven strong performer, who can inspire others to perform at high levels and proven stakeholder management skills
    ● Natural leader with strong talent for project coordination, delegation and oversight
    ● Strong experience and comfort level with agile methodologies
    ● Exceptional interpersonal skills (including verbal & written communication) and ability to establish credibility with executive leadership, IT, product and operational teams
    ● Comfortable operating in an evolving environment with changing priorities
    ● Strong work ethic and self-motivated with ability to take ownership, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently (including remote work)
    ● Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities
    ● Experience in the retail industry and working knowledge of digital marketing (furniture category experience or experience with high-consideration products is a nice-to-have)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP Hybris platform
