Responsibilities of the Director of Progressive Care Unit PCU
  • Directs and manages the operations and activities of the Telemetry Units
  • Responsible for the overall management of the department’s daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives established by upper management develops, implements, and evaluates the Case Management program to ensure quality patient care consistent with the Hospital mission
  • The Department Director is responsible for meeting all standards, complying with corporate policy and procedures, managing supplies and equipment in the units, promoting teamwork with physicians and all healthcare providers, promoting internal and external customer satisfaction, and for appropriate resource management

Requirements of the Director of Progressive Care Unit PCU
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • BSN is preferred
  • Current and Valid RN license
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Prefers TELE experience
  • 5+ years of current experience working in an acute care hospital
  • 3+ year of experience working in a Progressive Care Unit
