What’s the Role?

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Product Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Secured Lending (mortgage or home equity) with direct experience working with Encompass & Optimal Blue APIs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in product management, including creating tickets, testing, and developing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as a Lead Product Manager in developing and executing product strategies that align with company goals.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to drive product development and enhancements.
  • Utilize Optimal Blue PPE to optimize product offerings and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Create and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain detailed product documentation, including user stories, requirements, and test plans.
  • Conduct regular product testing and quality assurance to identify and resolve issues.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on the mortgage industry.
  • Proven experience working with Optimal Blue PPE (or other PPE) & Encompass (or other LOS)
  • Strong understanding of product management processes, including creating tickets, testing, and developing solutions.
  • Proficiency in working with APIs, including creating and updating them.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
