Director of Patient Access Service Line

Job Description
Client Summary:

Position Responsibilities:
  • Seeking a Director to lead and scale Patient Access solutions, reporting to the Executive Director of the broader service line
  • Responsible for developing go-to-market strategy, building service offerings, and aligning with company-wide growth goals
  • Owns delivery and expansion of patient access services and technology in partnership with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations
  • Acts as subject matter expert (SME) to support deal solutioning and drive automation and analytics in the service line
  • Accountable for revenue and profitability of new offerings launched
  • Interfaces with senior internal stakeholders and represents the solution externally with clients, investors, and at industry events
  • Leads external thought leadership efforts, in coordination with Marketing, through conferences, webinars, and published content
Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years in consulting, including work with major firms; 2+ years in patient access preferred
  • Knowledge of RCM tech (e.g., prior auth automation, eligibility, insurance discovery)
  • Experience supporting sales efforts and structuring commercial solutions
  • Strategic understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including RCM trends and vendor landscape
  • Global delivery experience and ability to drive transformation (Lean, Six Sigma, digitization)
  • Strong communicator with ability to engage C-level stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams
  • High emotional intelligence with leadership skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Financially savvy with P&L familiarity and strong analytical capabilities
  • Curious, market-aware, and proactive in shaping solutions and partnerships
  • Bachelor’s degree required
Compensation $130k-$160k, healthcare, dental, and vision coverage, in addition to our 401k plan with employer contribution, paid time off, and a rewards & recognition program
