Key Responsibilities

  • Direct internal project flow, including installation scheduling and field readiness across seasonal/geographic demands
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate credit lines, and enforce performance standards
  • Track project margins, uncover cost inefficiencies, and implement corrective strategies
  • Serve as an escalation point for customer issues, change orders, and operational bottlenecks
  • Consolidate and standardize project data into unified tracking systems (non-IT implementation)
  • Lead weekly operations council meetings, set resource priorities, and ensure team accountability
  • Collaborate closely with the controller for budget alignment and financial visibility
  • Mentor and align project management personnel to ensure effective execution

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years in construction, contracting, or field operations leadership
  • Demonstrated success with project scheduling, vendor negotiation, and cost tracking
  • Experience leading small to mid-sized operations teams with hands-on involvement
  • Comfortable managing seasonal workflows and geographically dispersed projects
  • High autonomy, assertive leadership style, and excellent problem-solving skills
