A 300-bed Level II Trauma Center has engaged Nealy Pierce to support the recruitment of a permanent Director of Nursing to oversee Senior Services. This organization is an award-winning, non-profit community hospital that manages some of the highest acuity patient populations in the state. Position Overview
The Director of Nursing (DON) will provide strategic and operational leadership for a 64-bed Senior Services department, consisting of a 32-bed memory care unit and a 32-bed long-term care unit, within a non-profit health system. This position reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, who is highly collaborative and committed to leadership mentorship. The DON will oversee daily operations, professional practice standards, staffing, performance management, and the advancement of departmental goals, ensuring delivery of the highest caliber of patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher is required
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a willingness to learn and grow
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
- Med/Surg, LTAC, Skilled or Assisted Living experience preferred
- CMSRN or GERO-BC certifications are a plus.
