This hospital is a not-for-profit, 250+bed tertiary medical facility that is part of a 3 hospital system in the area.

They are looking for a Director of Med/Surg and Telemetry, the units care for patients with chest pain, acute MI, syncope, heart failure and arrhythmia's. The population includes patients with pacemakers, ICDs, post heart catheters, post PCI. The unit also includes any medical-surgical patients that require telemetry monitoring. Some patients are placed in observation awaiting testing.

The Telemetry Director should possess exceptional interpersonal skills, critical thinking and time management skills. The successful candidate will assume twenty-four hour responsibility for the management of all non-provider staff and workers closely in a Dyad leadership model with the Medical Director. They will also be responsible for the identification and communication of resources needed for the success of the department in meeting established goals.

Requirements:

• BSN, Masters preferred.
• RN license in the State of NY.
• 3+ years’ experience in Acute Care leadership capacity.
• BLS required.
